CRM Implementation

HubSpot and CRM implementations designed around your sales process, adopted by your team, and connected to marketing and reporting from day one.

01 / Friction

The problem this solves

A CRM that was bought but never truly implemented, so the team works around it and the data cannot be trusted.

Typical warning signs

  • Deals are tracked in spreadsheets alongside, or instead of, the CRM.
  • Lifecycle stages exist but nobody agrees what they mean.
  • Duplicate and decayed records make every list unreliable.
  • Leads from the website arrive in an inbox, not a pipeline.
  • Reports are built per meeting, from exports, by hand.

02 / Change

Outcomes it is designed to create

  • A data architecture with agreed definitions for every stage and property.
  • Automated lead capture, routing and scoring feeding the pipeline.
  • Marketing, sales and reporting working from the same records.
  • A team that adopts the system because it visibly saves them time.

The CRM is a process, not a purchase

Most failed CRM projects were configured correctly and adopted never. The system asked salespeople for data entry without giving anything back, so they returned to their spreadsheets, and the CRM became an expensive contact list.

I implement CRMs the other way round: start from the sales process, design the minimum structure that supports it, automate everything mechanical, and give every user a reason to open the tool. In one logistics implementation this meant a HubSpot instance managing over 42,000 contacts with automated capture, routing and nurture, run by a small team.

What the engagement covers

Selection and architecture. The right platform, then a data model that reflects how you actually sell.

  • Structured selection against your process, integrations and budget (if undecided).
  • Objects, properties, lifecycle stages and pipelines with written definitions.
  • Decisions documented, so the model is understood, not guessed.

Implementation and migration. Configured and connected, with clean data.

  • Historical data migration with deduplication.
  • Integrations with website, forms, email, calendars and ad platforms.
  • Configuration that matches the architecture, not the defaults.

Automation. The system maintains itself instead of demanding admin time.

  • Capture, routing, scoring and task creation.
  • Nurture sequences and hygiene routines running unattended.
  • Every stage change triggers the next action automatically.

Reporting. Numbers leadership trusts, because the definitions are agreed.

  • Pipeline, velocity and source reporting.
  • Built on documented, agreed definitions.
  • Refreshed automatically, not rebuilt each month.

Adoption. The part that makes it stick.

  1. Onboarding by role, not one generic session.
  2. Playbooks for the recurring motions.
  3. A feedback loop in the first weeks, then governance rules that keep the instance clean after handover.

How the engagement runs

  1. Discover

Sales process mapping, data audit and requirements before any configuration.

  2. Architect

Properties, lifecycle stages, pipelines and integration design agreed on paper first.

  3. Implement

Configuration, migration, automation and integrations, tested with real scenarios.

  4. Adopt

Training, playbooks and a feedback loop during the first weeks of live use.

Frequently asked questions

Which CRM do you recommend?

The one your team will use at a price that fits. HubSpot is my most frequent implementation because its marketing integration is strong and adoption is easier, but Salesforce, Brevo and Zoho all have situations where they win. Selection is part of the engagement when it is genuinely open.

Can you rescue an existing messy CRM?

Yes, and it is common. Rescue starts with a data audit and deduplication, then a simplified property and stage model, then automation that removes the manual work that caused the workarounds in the first place. I have consolidated and automated databases of more than 42,000 contacts.
